COMPREHENSIVE EXAMINATION BEING MADE IHitllnh Official Wilslswl RUGBY, 12lh June. The Prime Minister, Mr Chamberlain, in answer to a question in the House of Commons to-day, stated that the Colonial Secretary, Mr Malcolm MacDonald, had been lor some time engaged on a comprehensive examination of the whole machintry for framing and carrying out Britain’s colonial policy in order to determine what alterations were necessary. The possibility of bringing Parliament into closer and more regular contact with the affairs of the colonies had not been lost sight of. but be was not ir n pos tlon lo make a statement about it until the Government completed its consideration of Ihe problem as a whole, Mr Chamberlain added
