FINE WEATHER WITH COLD NIGHTS The forecast n for hn* weather, with rather milder day but cold night temperatures, with some sharp frosts. Following sunny conditions yesterday (with 7 hours 10 minutes* sunshine) another heavy frost was experienced in the town and country last night, over 9 degrees being recorded at both the Cawthron Institute and Redwoods Valley Research Orchard.
Beautifully calm, sunny weather prevailed to-day. the snowetad ranges standing out in clear relief in the bright sunshine. The barometer had risen to 29.99
