Mr B. A. Reeves, who recently passed his registered surveyors’ examination, leaves Nelson on Wednesday evening to connect with the Maetsuycker which sails from Wellington for Singapore on Saturday. Mr Reeves will then proceed ito Keuching, Sarawak, Borneo, where he has been appointed to a position with the Sarawak senior civil service. Mr Reeves is an old boy of Nelson College and on leaving College he worked with the late Mr F. I. Ledger. He gained his "A - pilot’s license with the MsuTborough Aero Club early this yew under the Civil Reserve scheme.
