NEW MEMBER WELCOMED I United PrePß Association) WELLINGTON. 10th June. Colonel H. E. Avery, who succeeded the late Colonel G. Mitchell on the National War Funds Council, was welcomed at the council meeting on 7th June by the chairman of the executive, Sir Charles Luke, who said that Colonel Avery’s knowledge of matters concerning returned soldiers would be of great value to the council.
