The Bundi Dredge return to 7th June (94 hours and 9486 yards dredged) was 8502 14dwt lOgr. The Nemona Dredge return for 132 hours and 10,200 yards treated was 390 z 2dwt. Potatoes are. if anything, a shade easier, although the quotation to farmjers remains nominally about £8 to £8 10s. Growers have been offering a little more freely. Two large shipments from Lyttelton should be available next week in Auckland, where stocks are reported to be fairly short. The Waikouaiti took 8200 bags from Lyttelton and Timaru. LONDON INVESTMENT MARKETS LONDON, 9th June. The investment markets have finished I in a lame fashion under the impact of the poor reception given to the Australian loan. This has come as a blow to the giltedged section of the market. In addition there is a recrudescence of alarmist rumours concerning the international situation. Business has ngain dwindled to negligible proportions. Prices of shares based on commodities have weakened appreciably, and commodities themselves have relapsed into a stute of quietude, though the reserve displayed by sellers has prevented prices from slip-1 p mg.
