WOOLWORTHS TOO GOOD FOR MCKENZIES Ihe match between Woolworths and McKenzies provided plenty of excitement as can well be imagined, both firms being wcl Represented amongst the spectators! j Half time saw Woolworths with a com for-j Lable lead, the score reading at this time 13 to nil in favour of Woolworths. McKenzies threw their chance away by repeatedly not defending. When the goal is left open it is a very simple matter for a.’i attacking team to have everything their own way. Had McKenzies defended as they should the game would certainly have been a fairly even one. The final score for the match was Woolworths 27, McKenzies nil—a most decisive win for the victors. CLOSELY CONTESTED GAME Buxtons played a good game against Sacred Heart, who, although they lacked defence, were fairly good on the attack. The result of this game was Buxtons 28, Sacred Heart 22.
