NELSON CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING ROUND UNPLEASANT CONDITIONS ON SATURDAY On the Tahunanui links on Saturdol the second round for the Encountd Shield was played in conjunction wit) the first qualifying round for the Nel son Club championship. Early in thi afternoon a strong and very cold Wal mea wind made piaying conditions n<J only difficult, but also very unpleasant The scores therefore were on the higl side.
