' j A decline of more than 500.000 cases : in the quantity of fruit exported from ’ ! the Dominion this season, compared r with 1938, is announced by the secroI j tary of the New Zealand Fruit Exs port Control Board, Mr W. M. Benzies. , The total number of cases of fruit c shipped from the Dominion this year j was 1.051,142, compared with 1.562,672 1 last year. In all districts in the Dominion there has been a marked decline, except in J | Canterbury and Otago. e i Export totals are:—
