Winter When nature Playground in the Snow Covered Hills

C The Swedish ski-ing outfit on the extreme left is in navy blue gabardine, which is proofed against wind, snow and showers. It features the new vorlage trousers tapering to a snug fit around the ankles. The coat is shaped to fit snugly at the waist and hips and yet allows action room in back and shoulders.' The matching cap is the Swedish type with extended peak, to protect from sun-glare, and ear flaps, which can be worn folded or down. © In the next ski-ing outfit the reinforced shoulder pads of stitched, white poplin are matched by a white knitted head bandeau. The long jacket of navy blue windprool poplin has elastic gripping the waistline. The trousers are navy gabardine. © A double

breasted jacket of windproof Grenfell cloih, which is heavier than the usual proofed poplin, is the choice of the third skier. The jacket which is trirhmed with white is green to match the long, proofed, flannel trousers, which balloon over the boots. A triangular woollen scarf is worn on the head. © A snow-man design decorates the woollen mitten on the handle of the alpen stock. © On the left of the sleigh stands a figure wearing vorlage trousers in brown, proofed gabardine and a gold colored gabardine jacket with "disappearing” hood. The hood is attached to the jacket, and when folded is concealed in a pocket closed with a zip-fastener inside the back of the jacket. Another feature of the

jacket is that it has two cross straps, which allow it to bo carried as a rucksack in warmer weather. © On the other side of the sleigh is the wearer of a hooded jacket of white, proofed Grenfell cloth, the hood lined with navy and white spotted Grenfell cloth. The plus-fours of navy, proofed gabardine are worn with long socks. © The girl skier on the extreme right favors black, proofed gabardine trousers and a jacket of rust-colored Grenfell cloth. White edges the zipper fastening down the front and on the pockets of the jacket. The black cap is the Swedish type.
