Heine, Upper Moutere, applied for bridges to be erected on the Kiwi road.—Left to Engineer MARAHAU E. H. Bloomfield, secretary of the Sandy Bay-Marahau Settlers’ Association, asked the Council to proceeo with the work regarding improved ao--*fc-;s to Marahau. Mr C F. Skinner, M.P., also wrote with reference to the same matter, recommending that the work be done. It was resolved to allow £75 in con auction with the work and leave it to the chairman and Engineer to interview Mr Skinner to see what arrangements can be made in reference to iabour Oliver Evans, Umukuri, asked the Council to further consider the ques- ! tion of providing access to his property | on Kirkpatrick Island.
