DECKS RED-HOT
STEAMER ON FIRE DRAMATIC RACE TO PORT LONDON Ist May. Her decks red-hot the Ellerman steamer Teano (762 tons) raced into uil last night. The Teano, homeward bound from Sweden. was 100 miles from Hull when the fire was discovered on Friday. The 21 members of the crew were exhausted by their efforts to keep the flames under control. Firemen boarded the ship immediately she docked and began to fight the fire raging among the newsprint cargo.
