HAWKES BAY ELECTRICAL WORKERS AND B.M.A. (United Preße Association I WELLINGTON, This Day. The New Zealand Federation of Electricians Association advises that a motion credited to the Hawkes Bay branch of the Electrical Workers’ Association, which was reported to have urged the Government “to take a stand and treat the British Medical Association in the same manner as strikers in any other industry,” was not carried by th~t branch.
It is stated that at no time has the Hawkes Bay branch of the New Zealand Federation of Electricians’ Association discussed or passed any motion dealing with the dispute between the Government and the New Zealand branch of the British Medical Association. The organisation is said to be strictly nonpolitical and in no way connected with the body referred to in a recent message from Hastings.
