SIX MEN SENTENCED 1 U.P.A.—By Electric Telegraph— Copyright! (Received 18th April, 11 a.m.) BAGHDAD. 17th April. Sentences varying from eight to fifteen years’ imprisonment with hard labour were imposed on six men at a court-martial in connection with the death of Mr Monck-Mason. formerly British Consul at Mosul, who was assassinated. The sentence of death on two lads was commuted to fifteen years’ imprisonment with hard labour on the ground of their youth.
