RICHMOND WEDDING

LUTHER—WELLS A picturesque wedding of interest to many friends was solemnised at Holy Trinity Church. Richmond, on Easter Saturday, when Dulcie Rose, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs A. W. Wells, “Beachville.” was married to Charles s Allan <Bob). only son of Mr and Mrs * H. B. Luther. Sydney, the ceremony s being conducted by the Rev. Mr Saun--7 ders, with Mrs Dryden presiding at the c organ. The church was tastefully decorated 3 by lady members of the church, and j | friends of the bride. The bride, who was escorted by her father, made a charming picture in her a trained gown of rich creme embossed satin, cut on Grecian lines. She wore crystal earrings and necklace, and a diamond cluster ring, the bridegroom’s . gift. Her long embroidered tulle veil was held in place by a halo of orange lf blossom and her shower bouquet was s of begonias and carnations. Miss Alice s Wells, the bride’s only sister, who was y bridesmaid, wore a frock of clover ? broche taffeta with silver lame trimr i mngs; silver flowers formed a very pretty headdress, and she also wore r | gold mounted hand carved tortois i leli * earrings, a gift from the bridegroom. Carrying with them the good wishes . of their numerous friends, Mr and Mrs t Luther, who w'ere the recipients of i many valuable presents, including cheques, departed by the Wanganella r for their future home in Sydney.
