Attlee. characterised President R cose vent’s Note as a most valuable initiative. He added that l£>e Labour Party would fully support the suggested conference. Mr Lloyd George said that the Note was a magnificent and momentous appeal to reason.
The American Ambassador, Mr J. P. Kennedy, who is a guest at Windsor Castle for the week-end, discussed the Note with His Majesty.
