WELLINGTON, This Day. Pressure is still very sigh over northern New Zealand, but is falling rapidly in the south, and a depression is advancing across the Tasman. The forecast is for moderate to strong north-westerly winds reaching gale force in the Straits. Weather cloudy to overcast, with some rain probable. Temperatures mild, seas rather rough to rough.
