SEA SCOUT TO HELP GUARD THAMES

SERVICES OFFERED Sea Scouts who have their headquarters on the Thames have, through the Thames Sea Scout Committee of the Boy Scouts Association, ottered their services to the Port of London Authority’s “River Emergency Services.” devised to protect shipping in wartime. The secretary of the Thames Sea Scout Committee is seeking to enrol some sixty Thames Sea Scout Troops to participate in the scheme. To this scheme the Sea Scouts can give most valuable service. If telephone communications break down Sea Scouts can. by manning a series of signal stations along the banks of the river contact headquarters of the Port oJ
