APPEAL FROM RUMANIA
FOR FRENCH AND BRITISH GUARANTEE REPORTED GERMAN PRESSURE (Received 14th April, 11.10 a.m.) PARIS, 13th April. It is stated that King Carol sent a message to France and Britain emphasising the urgency of a French and British guarantee to Rumania as German pressure was becoming such that Rumania may be compelled to make the best possible terms with the Reich.
