PROPOSED COBB ELECTRIC SCHEME
CITY COUNCIL’S REQUEST TO POWER BOARD REPRESENTATIONS TO MINISTER INTENDED The future electric supply for the city was the subject of a discussion in committee. by the Nelson City Council last e* tning. It was decided and confirmed in open Council that a letter be sent to the Waimea Power Board concerning the Cobb supply, asking for a reply within a week if possible in view of its urgency and that if the reply is not satisfactory the Council wait on the Chief Electrical Engineer (Mr Kissel) and the Minister of Public Works (the Hon. R. Semple) itgarding the mattei*.
