COUNTY COUNCILLOR’S 80th YEAR
PRESENTATION TO MR H. EVERETT Councillor Horatio Everett was today the recipient of a pipe from members of the Waimea County Council, in recognition of his Buth birthday, which he celebrated yesterday. The chairman (Councillor J. Colder) congratulated Councillor Everett and referred to his long record of public service. He first became a member of the Waimea County Council in 1902 and had rendered valuable services to the community. In making the presentation the chairman conveyed the best wishes of the council to Councillor Everett who suitably replied.
