An illustration of the greater cultural opportunities resulting from the facilities afforded by air travel occurs in the news that Dr. Malcolm Sargent, who conducted the London Philharmonic Orchestra in London on Good Friday, only four dater later led a rehearsal of the Palestine Philharmonic Orchestra at Telaviv. During his 18 days’ stay in Palestine Dr. Sargent will conduct at eight concerts.
