MAITAT GOLF CLUB The opening of the Maitai Golf Club ! was attended by a large number of members. Mixed foursomes were play- , ed and many good scores were handed | in. In declaring the season open the President. Mr F. V. Powell, welcomed ■ I members and their friends and hoped : that all would enjoy a very successful | j season. It was also mentioned that j : there were still a few vacancies in the ! , club for new members this season. ' Next Sunday morning the men’s club will hold a medal round, players to arrange their own partners.
