W.D.F.U. ACTIVITIES
MOTUPIKO BRANCH CHILDREN'S PARTY HELD Owing to an outbreak of measles, the Motupiko branch of the W.D.F.U. had to postpone the annual Christmas Tree party planned for the children of members, and on 10th Mar of this year, a children’s party was held in place of the postponed festivities. Most of the children were dressed in national costumes, so the room looked very bright with the gay colours. Games, items and competitions were enjoyed by everyone, but the feature of the evening was an enormous pie in the form of a tub filled with presents, each child receiving a slice of pie. The evening came to a close after a very enjoyable supper.
