The first Royal Court to-day was held unusually early this year owing to Their Majesties’ pending Canadian tour. The King wore full-dress field-mar-shal’s uniform. The Queen was dressed in a gown of shimmering white slipper satin with a wide skirt, which was heavily bordered j with bands of gold lace and gold lame. I Gold guipere lace encrusted with pearls ! and gold paillettes was let into the cor- i sage, in the central panel of the gown. ! The train was of gold lame bordered j with bands of gold lace. Her Majesty ! wore a tiara a necklace and bracelets of diamonds. With the King and Queen were the Duke and Duchess of Kent. Princess Alice and the Countess of Athlonc*. PREPARING REPULSE SHIP GOING TO GIBRALTAR RUGBY. 10th March. The battle cruiser Repulse will leave Portsmouth on 18th March for Gibraltar. after which the final preparations will be made in the ship for Their Ma- j jesties’ voyage to Canada STATE VISIT TO LONDON RUGBY, 11th March.
