BURGLARY AT NEW PLYMOUTH
MONEY AND CHEQUE STOLEN 1 U v I le.t A social ion» NEW PLYMOUTH, 12th March. About £2O in cash and a cheque for £23 were stolen from a New Plymouth house on Saturday night. Mr ‘ R. Wilton, Hawera, lost the cheque and most of the cash, and Mr W. P. Allen, Hawera, the balance. They were staying with Mr Patterson sen., in Gilbert Street. Access to the house was apparently gained through a. bedroom window. The money was lelT in two handbags.
