FALL ON TO ROCKS

BOY DIES FROM INJURIES I United Pießß Association? NAPIER, 30th January. Discovered in a serious condition on the rocks below the concrete ramp leading to the Glasgow Wharf, Napier, at 4.45 p.m. this afternoon, a boy, John Frederick Taylor, aged 11 years, was admitted to the Napier Public Hospital with a fractured skull and internal injuries. His death occurred at 0.30 p.m. The accident, as far as is known, was not witnessed, but the boy’s cycle was found near by and it is thought he attempted to cycle up the ramp, lost his balance and fell on to the rocks below The boy’s father was employed near the scene of the accident and the boy was in the habit of cycling down at about this time.
