INVERCARGILL, 26th January. > David’ Todd Hardie, aged 10, M:f----l a mu, wtis drowned iu tlie Mataura River at about 8 p.m. Ho had apparently been playing 'im the river bank when he slipped aud fell into the water. The body had not been recovered late to-night.
