FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND DEFENCE MATTERS DISCUSSED I British Official Wirelesul (Received 27th January, 10.35 a.m.) RUGBY. 26th January. Mr Chamberlain. Prime Minister, presided this afternoon over a Cabinet sub-committee meeting dealing with | foreign affairs and defence matters which was attended by Sir John Simon (Chancellor of the Exchequer), Lord Halifax < Foreign Minister), Sir Kingsley Wood (Secretary of State for Air). Sir Thomas Inskip (Minister for the Coordination of Defence). Mr Oliver Stanley (President of the Board of Trade), and Earl Stanhope (First Lord of the Admiralty). Sir Robert Vansittart and Sir Alexander Cadogan were also present.
