LORD AND LADY GALWAY
VISIT TO TE AROHA I United Press Association I TE AROHA, 26th January. 'Hie Governor-General and Lady Galway paid a visit to Te Arolia yesterday afternoon. Ihey were met on arrival by the mayor and chairman of the county council. At a garden party in the Tourist Domain the Vice-Regal party was welcomed by the mayor, who presented his Excellency with an illuminated address. In his reply, Lord Galway referred to the Te Arolia district as one of the most prosperous in the Dominion. In the evening the Governor-General and party were the guests of the Caledonian Society at the annual Burns Night Ingleside. They left for I’aeroa this morning.
