Monahan have returned to their home in Tudor street. Motueka, after spending a holiday on the West Coast.

** * * Dr Vere Polis, Ph.D., of England, who has arrived in Nelson from Christchurch, to give a course of lectures on the new psychology, is a guest at Wainui House. ** * * Miss K. Redgrave, who has been staying in New Plymouth with Mrs C. Burton, has returned to Nelson. ** * * Mr and Mrs F. W. Brims, Australia, who have been staying at Wainui House during the course of a tour of New Zealand, have left for the West Coast.

When the service car left for Christi church this morning, the passengers included Mrs M. Adamson, of England, who has been staying at Wainui House during the course of a New Zealand tour. ** * * Mr Roy Carson leaves by to-night’s boat for Wellington, where he will attend the Carson-Jenkins wedding tomorrow. Mr Carson is a brother of the bridegroom. ** * * Amongst Christchurch visitors to Nelson are Mr and Mrs C. Frain, also Mr J. Stoneman. who are staying at the Royal Hotel this week. ** * * Other Australian visitors to Nelson include Mr and Mrs G. E. Errey, of Portland. Victoria, who left for the West Coast to-day after spending several days at Wainui House. ** * * Mr and Mrs C. Jackson, whose home is at Singapore, have been staying in Nelson, and left this morning for l Christchurch. They were guests at the 1 Royal Hotel. ** * * Mr and Mrs J. McNee and Miss G. Hind, who are residents of Wellington, j have arrived in Nelson and are spend-; ing a holiday at Wainui House. ** * * Christchurch visitors to Nelson this week include Mr and Mrs O. S. Penniewick and their daughter. Miss A. Penniewick, who are staying at Wainui House. Mr and Mrs Clark, also of Christchurch, left yesterday on the return trip after a pleasant holiday . ** * * Mr and Mrs A. T. Birchfield, who are well-known residents of Ruru. West Coast, are spending a holiday in j Nelson and are guests at the Royal Hotel.
