After fifty policemen had quelled a j demonstration against the United States j stage play “pins and needles” the civic j censors ordered the deltion of scenes | satirically depicting Mr Chamberlain, j Herr Hitler and Signor Mussolini at j Munich. The Provincial Government issued a j warning that-the play may be banned entirely should it cause further demon- ; strations.
