The Foreign Office states that representations are being made to London against the arrest in Singapore of several prominent Japanese. NO ARRESTS MADE DOCUMENTS BEING EXAMINED (Received 2Gth January, 8.30 a.m.) SINGAPORE, 25th January, The police are still examining documents seized during last week’s raids on Japanese hotels and business premises. There are no arrests yet and it is understood none are likely.
