The dance in the Oddfellows Hall by the Loyai Howard Lodge social committee was a very successful and enjoyable function. During the supper interval Mr L Gillespie entertained with two songs, ’Rose of Tralee” and “Danny Boy.” both items being well applauded The old time dances were as popular as ever. The M C., Bro. G. L. tlousiaux. with his partner, introduced a new dance into the hall. “The Argentine, T which also proved a favourite. Mr A. Gascoigne and Mr C. Reynish both played extras which were much appreciated The ladies as usual had charge of the supper room, and a very -dainty supper was handed round Good prizes were awarded to the winners and run-ners-up of the Monte Carlo and Early Bird competitions.
