SILVER WEDDING
' < A very happy time was spent on 0 j Monday night at the residence of Mr [J and Mrs J. Beattie, the occasion being their silver wedding. Some forty friends attended in the form of a surprise party. Dancing and games were •’ freely indulged in till midnight, and after supper was served Mr C. J. Emms, i- in his usual humorous manner, presentd ed Mrs Beattie with a beautiful glass I bowl, adding that all present hoped to j meet Mr and Mrs Beattie again in anj other 25 years to celebrate their golden I v. edding.
