SYDNEY MAN ARRESTED IN BOMBAY
IN RESPONSE TO CABLED ! INSTRUCTIONS fU.P.A.—By Lie trie Telegraph-Copy ri<?h 11 SYDNEY, 19th January. John Woolcott-Forbes, who is widely known in commercial and racing circles here, was arrested by the Bombay police in accordance with cabled instructions from the Sydney police when the liner Strathnaver arrived there. He has been released on bail pending the hearing of on application for his extradition to Sydney. In the meantime Douglas Jowetl Bush has been arrested in Brisbane on the charge that he conspired and agreed with Woolcott-Forbes and other persons to defraud the Producers and General Finance Corporation and oilier persons of large sums of money. Bush haj been remanded to Sydney.
