LONDON, 19th January. General Naci Tinaz has been appointed Turkish Minister of Defence. The Prime Minister (Mr Jelal Bayer) stated that the resignation of M. Zekai Bey was prompted by a desire to facilitate an investigation into allegations that warplanes and supplies had been sent to Spain.
