MANOEUVRES OFF AFRICAN COAST DEFENCE OF MOROCCO TO BE STUDIED [U.P.A.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright! PARIS, 17th January. The Atlantic and Mediterranean squadrons sail at dawn to-morrow for manoeuvres off the African coast and the Straits of Gibraltar, including an attack against Casabalanca from the sea,* during which Admiral Gamelin, Chief of the Naval Staff, and ViceAdmiral Darlan will study the defence of Morocco. The Mediterranean squadron later will extend its cruise to Tunis.
