AIR RAID SHELTERS
CONSTRUCTION IN ENGLAND 1 0 PA —lsv Electric Telegraph—Copy rightl (Received 17th January, 11.45 a.m.) LONDON, 16th January. The Home Office has ordered 120,000 tons of steel plates and accessories for the construction of 400.000 air-raid unit shelters. It is expected that they will protect the occupants of small houses against the blast of splinters and falling debris.
