RECORD CHRISTMAS MAIL IN BRITAIN
I British Official Wirelessl RUGBY, 29th December. The volume of letters and parcels carried by the Post Office this Christmas was 20 per cent, greater than last year and constituted a record. Five thousand more staff were engaged becau e of transport difficulties caused by snow and ice and all deliveries were effected by Christmas morning.
