FLOUR TAX INVALID
SYDNEY BAKERS TO TEST MATTER (Received 31st December, 10.50 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Sydney master bakers have been advised by counsel that the flour tax imposed recently is invalid and a mass meeting will probably be held to consider a proposal to test the matter in the High Court. In the meantime some bakers are refusing to pay the tax.
