BRITAIN IN SOUTH AFRICA
SPRINGBOKS THE BETTER SIDE During the months of July. August, and September the British team toured South Africa and they were fully extended in a few games. Three test matches were played and the honours going to the Springboks by two games to one. The Springboks won the first Test by 26 points to 12: and the second by 19 to 3. but Britain were superior m the third Test by 21 points to 16. In all the games played by the British side they won 17 and lost 6.
