SNOWBOUND ELECTORATE
KINROSS BY-ELECTION CANDIDATES ARMED WITH SHOVELS I D.P.A.—By Electric Telexraph-Cooyrlehtl (Received 22nd December, 1.25 pm.) LONDON, 21st December. Hie candidates for the Kinross byclection toured the snowbound electorate where polling takes place today, armed with shovels with which to dig themselves out in the event of snowdrifts.
The candidates are the Duchess of Atholl, who was a Unionist member for fifteen years and is seeking re-election as an Independent; and Mr W. McNair Snadden. official Unionist.
