He pulled up to await .Lord i and Lady Herbert Scott, who were folj lowing in another car and who saw the j incident. I'he “Daily Telegraph" states: “Lord • Herbert Scott, who is the Duchess of Gloucester's uncle, got out and spoke to the Duke. After a few minutes the Duke started the car again.'' j The “Daily Sketch” says: “The Duke skidded clear of the lorry while travel-' ling at 70 miles an hour.
