ARMY CORPS ON CZECH FRONTIER LONDON NEWSPAPER’S STORY iU P A —Bv Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received 30th November, 9.0 a.m.) LONDON, 29th November. ihe “News Chronicle” publishes a re port from a “reliable source” that Germany is secretly mobilising three army corps on the Czech frontier as a reply, it is believed, to Poland's and Hungary’s persistent agitation for the annexation of Ruthenia to give them the common frontier which Germany opposes Six divisions are reported to be already completely mobilised, and the remaining three are in the process. Well-informed circles, states the paper, suspect that Hiller wishes to hold his hand till some incident prompts the pro German elements in the Czech, Slovak, and Ruthenian Governments to call for Germany s armed support, giving him a pietext for overrunning the whole country and occupying Prague. Ihe Propaganda Ministry hi Berlin, however, completely denies the “News Chronicle’s” story, describing it as ‘ridiculous.”
