TALKS NOT OFFICIAL I British Official Wireless' (Received 30th November, 11.20 a.m.) RUGBY, 29tb November. Replying to a question in the House of Commons on Mr O. Pirow’s Cou tioeutal tour, Mr Malcolm MacDou aid, Colonial Secretary, said: “1 have n. doubt that wheu Mr Pirow returns to this country be will give us information about these various conversations in Em ope, but members are under some rnisap prehension. They seem to suppose that some negotiations are proceeding be tween Mr Pirow and Herr Hitler. As I said previously I am not aware of uny such negotiation having taken place. Mr MacDonald pointed out that Mr Pi. row's talks were personal and not official oj behalf of the Union Government.
