Resuming the match against Orange Free State, M.C.C., in the first innings, lost six wickets for 412 runs declared (Yardley not out 182, Bartlett 100, H. Sparks four for 89). Orange Free State, in the second innings, made 260 runs (Kaplan 35, Coen 61, Francis 35, D. Sparks not out 57, Wilkinson two for 66, Verity seven for 75). M.C.C. won by an innings and 24 runs.
