CAUSE FOR HOPE
PAN-AMERICAN CONFERENCE i United Press Association 1 NEW YORK, 26th November. Headed by the Secretary of State, Mr Cordell Hull, the United States delegation to the Pan-American conference in Lima sailed after 10 minutes’ conference between Mr Hull and the returning Ambassador in Germany, Mr Wilson. Details of the conference are not revealed, but Mr Hull read a statement asserting that the conference offers “solid cause for hope in a world threatened with despair.”
