MOTOR-CYCLIST GRAVELY INJURED

Mr Leslie Dovey. aged about 26, was admitted to Palmerston North Public Hospital this morning with a fractured skull, and his condition Is regarded as very serious. It appears that Mr Dovey. who is a farm hand employed at Te Horo. was motor-cycling on the main highway about a quarter of a mile south of Levin railway station when an accident occurred. No other person cr vehicle was concerned, and it is thought that he lost control of his machine.
