WAKATU DEFEAT VICTORY Wakatu defeated Victory at the Park or, the first innings in a junior match. Wakatu won the toss and Coleman and Norberg opened the batting and in a good opening partnership added 82 before they were .separated. Norberg being caugiit for 34. Soon after Coleman was bowled for 48. Harris was the next batsman and scored 35: Karsten also scored 36 and Will cock 23. These were the highest scorers and Wakatu’s fi nings closed for J 94. Wilson was the most successful bowler for Victory securing four wickets for 25 runs. Donald opened for Victory and put them in a good position by scoring a well-earned 52 in quick time with some nice shots. Garguilo played well for 37. McNamara made 12 and the innings closed for 142. Fielding bowled well for Wakatu securing six wickets for 31. Wakatu thus won on the first innings with a 4 point
