The Paris correspondent of the “Evening News” says that the Trades Unions’ executive decided to call a twenty-four hours’ general strike of 4,000,000 workers on Ist December. CHARGE AGAINST STRIKERS (Received 26th November, 11.20 a.m.) PARIS, 25th November. fThe police announce that 290 ot : the 700 arrested after the Renault disturbances are being kept in custody. They will be charged with combining for armed rebellion.
